i paid $140 for the 2 tickets, including sistic fee of $2 each..but i'm now offering the tickets at $130 for both. the tickets are for seats in the center so you're guaranteed a good view , plus it's within the first 5 rows of the block of ard 20 rows. I just did a check..the seats of the center blocks ( according to the seating plan of the sistic website ) T03, T04, T05 are ALL SOLD OUT!

i ignore him..as usual. he tried to get my attention..i think coz he just got a new hair cut and a brilliant new dye job..so he did that irritating ah beng call..the kissey sound..goodness..

i don't remember anytime in my lifetime in singapore where there was so much rain and so cold for such a period of time.

despite the gloominess..and frizzy hair (that i get when my hair gets wet from rain..)
i quite like the cold.
it's a change..

been sick..
been medicated..
fever was at a high of 38.9C ..

Thursday..
sleepy..
weak..
no appetite so my food intake that day was : 3 raisin buns, 1 small bowl of chicken porridge & half a cup of hot milo..
Oh..and the meds..

Today..
i feel weak & woozy..despite not taking meds in the morning..
i didn't wanna take them and fall asleep at the desk or something..coz i had some extra drawings to finish..which i did..within 2 hours..i'm proud of myself..
my appetite isn't quite back yet..managed to almost finish a bowl of soupy noodles in the morning..got hungry and munched on some biscuits..

i want my bed..and a warm blanket..

i have so much to say!

i just wanna keep writing and writing!
it's only been 3 days into the new year and i'm quite pleased with how things are going!
firstly..i spent an entire day at the office today..working like crazy. sat in front of the comp for 8 hours? or so? preparing some urgent drawings. i think i reached my maximum "comp exposure" by about 4pm..coz by then i was starting to see stars..and my muscles were starting to ache..
despite all that! i'm quite glad i got to be this busy..it's a good start to the year at work!

you might wonder why it's so urgent? it's coz this machine at the workshop broke down so i had to step in and in a way took away some of uncle's usual responsibilities..
he must have been quite displeased..maybe he felt that his position as production manager was threatened by my increasing responsibilities?
maybe.
but whatever it is, i decided a few days ago..that it's time i contribute even more to the company. be more involved with operations but at the same time..try not to put my uncle out of job! i've already developed abit of a plan..further developing an idea my dad had..hopefully he'll agree to what i suggest. coz that way..it'll guarantee me a spot in keeping track of production! wish me luck!
*keeps fingers crossed*

since i'm on the topic of work..
there is one thing i would very much like to change at the office. it's about my work environment.
since the start of my employment, i've been plagued by this unpleasantry.. and i fear that it's not a problem that can be solved easily. =l

oh dear! thinking about it..makes me sick. maybe you can help me out?
i have to face it everyday..i'm not even safe in my office! and everytime i make a trip to the loo..that's why i'm most exposed to it!

Well...

it's this 21 year old boy who's stalking me. he's an employee! i get no peace. i see him everyday. i can't even look out of the window without him looking in at me..with that tinted glasses..long dyed ponytailed hair and quite unpleasant smoker teeth. i can't help it..he's not pleasant to look at. i mean yes he might be a really nice person..but goodness..
it's too much you know? i've been working there for more than a year and he's still seems obsessed! i've been brushing it off all this while..ignoring him ALL the time..i think my patience has run out.
can you imagine attending a company dinner with him looking at you EVERY SINGLE TIME you look up? if that's not stalkerish..i don't know what is!
i don't see what he's trying to achieve..what's the point of his actions? i just don't understand?
Oh! he's such a child.

when will i be rid of such unnecessary attention..?

in my short experience with driving...and many years of being an observant passenger in my dad's car..i've NEVER encountered anyone like you. you truly left me speechless. and no if you didn't understand that..i wasn't praising you.
i just thought someone should let you know.
the only rule of parking at a carpark..is not first come first serve.
if you think so..you're delusional.
it's always and has been a luck thing. you happen to pass by or are parked near a car about to leave..that lot is yours. you don't go around trying to reverse into another car to get a lot far from you. that is complete nonsense.
claiming that you've been waiting for that lot, is also rubbish. if that were the case..you should have been positioned near the car about to leave, with your signals on.
to ask the driver of the car, nearest to the vehicle about to leave, to move, so you can park there..is well..once again..COMPLETE BULLSHIT.
who gave you the right to demand that you deserve the lot when we were ALOT nearer and we signalled our intention while you didn't?
my dad was right, there is no point explaining to you.
people like you can NEVER be thought manners or courtesy, because you will always think you're right.
and oh if you didn't realise..my dad was insulting you..not giving in to you when we said "we'll be gracious and let you have the lot.."

but i figured you probably never understood that..you're all brawn and no brains. no manners. far from a gentleman. shame on you for trying to fight for a parking lot from a young woman.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

first post of 2006.

i welcomed the new year outside..the complete opposite of last year! last year i was relaxed and comfortable at shangri-la hotel at sentosa! this year..i was stuck and perspirey and quite uncomfortable at the esplanade. i think it goes without saying that last year's experience was a much nicer one.

i think half of singapore turned up at the esplanade.. -_-
we ( me & jack) managed to find some spot where i could at least see the river. the next 40 minutes was spent trying to dodge people trying to squeeze their way to the front..yikes! no space already still wanna push! ARrrrrrggghhhh...
the wait was made more unpleasant by 2 over enthusiastic party people with cans..yes canS of foamy, hair mousse like fake snow. -_-! nothing like snow at all.

anyways all that waiting and enduring of pushing and icky hair mousse flakes was worth it in the end..coz of the excellent display of fireworks after the stroke of midnight!
that was the only thing about this year that was better than last..the fireworks!
i love watching them..i'm gonna sound like some little girl but..they're so preetteeeeeeeeeeeee!!

one thing about outdoor countdowns...you have to be prepared to get really yucky and prepare to walk tons and fend of inconsiderate pushy people and crazy party people..huge crowds..and stupid teenagers. -_- most of them were amusing themselves spray fake snow around at people and themselves..hmm..so fun ya?!
i was leaving the place when a bunch of young boys were playing with cans of that horrid fake snow.. playing like idiots in the middle of nowhere..blocking other people's way and generally just pissing everyone else off with that disgusting fake stuff!
so i screamed at the top of my lungs..

IT's NOT CHRISTMAS!!!

christmas was 6 days ago.. besides that stuff is revolting.
i think i shocked jack abit with that outburst! i think anyone would be shocked..coz apparently it was preeetty loud.. it felt pretty good though..saying what's on my mind! ;P

after quite alot of walking around..in heels.. (f i hadn't worn the heels..i probably would have alot of trouble trying to see past all those heads at the esplanade!!)
we managed to get on a bus and got home close to 2am!

i was so glad to be out of the heels..coz i developed 3-4 little blisters..that didn't burst..thank goodness!!

after last night..i decided that i won't be doing that again for the next years.. i would rather book a room at the swissotel and enjoy the views from the balcony! =P or just drive up to whatever venue close to midnight and leave after!

anyways i hope everyone had a good time welcoming the new year..however you chose to!
