"some adults ahh...stuupid ahh.."

that's what my darling little sis said the other day..
fortunately she wasn't referring to me! =P

i've forgotten what it was that triggered that comment but it's true
some adults..really are stupid
one would think that given the fact that they've lived longer and have more experience with life..they would be less prone to stupidity?
but no..that doesn't seem to apply to quite a number of adults..

like that bunch of twentysomethings i saw on saturday at raffles city.
a group of at least 8. stood outside harvey norman..in a circle..blocked up most of the walkway..chatting.
very smart..

or the group of aunties at tiong bahru..5 of them who stood right in front of the escalator..contemplating their next step..to go up to the 2nd floor or not..
once again..very smart.

that happens i lot..i don't understand why the people who congregate at a busy section of traffic..don't seem care about anything else that goes on around them.
or those who like to stroll in the middle of the walkway at shopping centres..
you wanna stroll..you might as well go to a park..stroll all you want
and those who suddenly decide to stop and look at a shop from the outside..while blocking the flow of traffic..
you wanna see..go into the bloody shop laa? or at least go nearer to the display and not in front of other people's path?

the owner of that bloody silver bmw convertible..i still remember his car plate number. the one who horned at me coz he would probably die if he travelled at any speed less than 50km/h on a curvy stretch of road. and who later accelerated past me after the bends only to be stuck at the same red light as me. *thumbs up*
if he's so bloody good at driving..and has no patience..and who has obviously forgotten that the legal speed on normal roads is 50km/h..freaking overtake me on that stretch la?! there were no cars anyways

*sigh* it happens to us quite abit..even to my 13yr old sister!
i remember this one incident which happened to me..this 30something? woman..possibly a mother..she starred..REALLY stared at me for awhile..looked at me..my skirt..my butt..my legs..my slippers?! she didn't even stop herself when i turned back TWICE to stare back at her!
i've never seen anyone behave like that..

oh before i forget.. the brillant driver of the toyota estima i encountered last weekend
hmm.. probably THE worst of the evil drivers i've encountered so far
let me set the scene..
a busy 2 lane street at chinatown. i turned into that street to get to the multi storey carpark..as usual..there was a bit of a jam. alot of cars..some parked on the side..making the already narrow street..narrower..and some were either trying to get to the carpark or out the other way.
so jam jam jam..slow moving.. as i approached the entrance of the carpark..this huge toyota estima turned out of the carpark..and without signalling his intention..the dude..a father driving his family..started inching into my path.
me being the new driver tired of other drivers taking advantage of my triangle plate and my little red car..refused to let him cut infront of me.
you signal..i'll gladly give way to you. you don't signal..don't expect me to be nice.
that's my philosophy.
anywhoosss...the traffic ahead of me cleared so as i was about to turn into the carpark entrance..i noticed this uncle on the road signalling for me to hold on..coz 2 lorries were wedged some distance in front of me and i think they were trying to get out..so i wait
let them get out first..
it was only a 1 or 2 min wait but the bloody estima driver..
he inched so close to my car!! mere inches away!! and he started horning me!
i mean how stupid can anyone get?! his car so big..so high..he definitely saw the uncle signalling for me to stop and why can't he just bloody wait like the rest of us??
i was soooooooo pissed.. i think he was just unhappy that i didn't give way to him
whatever!
some people think they have the right of way just coz they drive bigger cars or better cars..

one more to add to the list..
this couple i saw on the train the other day..
hmm...very clingy..guy was sitting 45 degrees..facing the girl..with both arms wrapped around her..
i really don't get that. what's the point of clinging like that?
is it really that cold? or can you not get enough of each other you have to have as much body contact as possible at every second of the day? is that supposed to show how much in love they are? i don't think so..
so after i got on..i don't know if i was too sensitive but they both started looking. i don't know what they were looking at.. so bitchy laa.. especially since the guy started it.

alright..that's about it for now..
i think the stupidity theme will be around for awhile..coz my next post will be dedicated to the stupid adults of normanton park..which i promised to write about in an earlier post!
