ugly singaporeans

yep..those again..
are you getting sick of reading about me criticising others?
you can't blame me though..you have to admit our society is infested with people with the worse kind of manners and behaviour.

this happened at harbourfront..

there was a stretch of seats - a table of 4 joined to the table of 2
my sisters, cyn & celine, who were there early sat on the 2 seats on the left on the table for 4..
while the table of 2 was taken up by a couple -
Ms. I-have-no-manners & Mr. I-have-no-manners-either.
me & jack arrived some time later only to find that Ms. I-have-no-manners had left her bag on the seat next to her. Mr. I-have-no manners-either saw me..side glanced me and well..did nothing..
the brilliant thing is that..she didn't look at us either. she didn't bother to remove her bag or even ask if we might need the seat. and she went on eating her pizza and cheese fries and chatting.
i wasn't amused..my sisters left to order food while i stayed behind..
drove me nuts.. seeing her just sit there and do nothing when it's quite obvious by then that we probably need the seat?!
the next thing i did..was stack all the used pizza boxes on our table and shoved it so near over to their side..it almost hit the cut fruits she had on the table..and i left.
i was just giving her a taste of her own medicine? you rude..i rude
*scowl*
when i came back.. her bag still hadn't moved..
*sigh*
none of us could believe it! but cyn..being the less hot tempered of the lot..decided to ask her politely "excuse me, do you mind?"
only then did Ms. I-have-no-manners move her bloody bag!

there's only 3 reasons i can think of to explain their behaviour..

1) she/he has tunnel vision - she can only see things RIGHT in front of her.
this is not quite possible..

2) she was so engrossed with the conversation she's having or that she's so engrossed in her companion..
i think not..only if he was actually hypnotising her..

3) they are just plain not aware of their surroundings and the people around them at all..which is selfish and insensitive. it's just rude to not give a heck about others and not have basic courtesy?

whatever it is..you would expect better manners from people as well groomed as her..
but no..a pity really..but too bad for her..
no amount of money & effort can ever cover up one's ugly nature.
