for the non teenyboppers who have been watching singapore idol, you might agree with me when i say poor little joakim gomez kills every song he attempts to sing.

ok so norman was worse. but at least he's gone!

little boy joakim, pretty face & smiley boyish charm and all..
yes i do think he's quite cute but unfortunately..he has a reed thin voice.

i almost cried when he slaughtered jason mraz's "geek in the pink"
i love mr mraz so to hear his song being poorly executed by a wannabe plus he was actually prancing around on stage in a pink top!! *gasps in horror*
sorry dude..the geek that rocks the pink tee best has to be mraz. but then again..i'm a fan so i'm naturally biased.
anyway that's not the point.

what ken lim say last night was very true.
joakim only has THAT much talent and he'll be better off on stage or on tv as a host or an actor - i'm sure mediacorp would love to put him in the next silly sitcom they make and well little boy joakim will still have his chance at stardom!
his adoring fans will get to see LOADS of him, which is way better than being kicked out of the competition and once the idol fever dies down..he'll be another forgotten contestant.
and if he's really lucky, mediacorp might just fulfil his singer dream by letting him sing the theme song of whatever little sitcom he'll be in!

so do us & the boy a favor and just stop voting for him.
