have you seen this?

it's the latest promo for Marina Square shopping mall.."Feast in Style in The Square"

i don't like it.
it doesn't make me want to 'feast' it actually invokes a sense of disgust..

i think they were trying to go for a miss chocolate thing..but it's badly done laa
the picture is small so it may not look so bad. but wait till you see it blown up and pasted on a pillar or plastered on walls..
it's quite gross.

despite her pretty milk chocolate eyes and the malteser neckalce..the poor miss looks messy.
i get that they're trying to do this chocolate theme thing..but
chocolate rice for eye brows don't look too good..not when you can still see bits of her dark eye brows..
and the brown mess that is her dramatic 'eyeshadow' looks like the stylist just smeared it on with an old paint brush.
and her lips..her lips. it looks like an old paint brush with rough bristles were used to apply half melted, still slightly chunky chocolate. OMG if they really wanted to play with real chocolate..bloody melt it properly and have it done properly so it looks like a matt lipstick la! OR just use a bloody matt lipstick and save all the trouble!

the most unfortunate part of the picture..i feel..is what she is putting in her mouth. it looks most unpleasant. i know she's supposed to be eating a piece of chocolate but it's melted and mushy in places..it looks poopy..
why couldn't they just give her a proper unmelted piece of chocolate?!

there are other ways you can adorn the poor model with chocolate laaa..
stick with the chocolate rice! but use that to decorate her face with artistic/curly wurly lines..like face paint..instead of cover her eyebrows.
that way her cheeks won't look too bare. they could also have used melted dark chocolate to do the same thing.
you know how some chocolate are adorned with colour or texture? they could have used some gold makeup
gold would be pretty..for that extra touch of glamour
they could also have used really shiny lip gloss on her lips..at least she'll look classy..not messy!

well..i guess what's done is done.
same goes for the new sony ad for their latest player. the one that rips off romeo and juliet. the perfect combi of eyes and ears thing. yikes. i didn't like it.
their previous ads were all pretty good..like the guy who hears music in everything. that was quite cool. but this is nooo goooood. they went from being creative to ripping off something..

barf.

speaking about barf..
this left me in tears when i first saw it..it's ridiculous!
